• Do you need to work on planning out the story? Maybe an outline technique can help.
• Is one particular scene is giving you trouble? Try using morphological forced connections, using different aspects of your scene as the categories in the exercise.
• Are you having trouble with story arc? Try the ABC method.

Happy to report that I did a 500 word sprint this morning. For my character I've added more conflict with her new stepbrother.
Awesome work Carrie! How did it feel, adding more conflict? Did it open up more story opportunities for you? Usually that's what happens for me. The more conflict I add, the more possibilities seem to open up for the story.
I have a lot of writing catch-up to do so I hope to write 2K this afternoon. I'll tweet when I'm done. :)
I might have a conflict for tomorrow's chat but will try to make it.
Had a looong day at work today so am looking to get down to some writing after a well-deserved shower! Aiming for 1,000+ but we'll see! My current chapter is from the PoV of a minor character. Her conflict: she's an exotic dancer by night, and her parents are strict Christians unaware of her double life. Their church pastor, a rather nasty man, discovered her dark secret when he visited her club, and is demanding some 'privileges' in return for his silence.
Looking forward to the chat tomorrow!
